Choreo Culture is a new subsidised training retreat giving visionary dance artists the opportunity to develop their choreographic practice. Across three days, you will be given unique coaching, guidance and space to discover and realise your ideas and full potential by leading life coach and movement director Dannielle ‘Rhimes’ Lecointe.

Sylvia nominated for three Olivier Awards

ZooNation is absolutely thrilled to share the news that our latest production of Sylvia has been nominated for three Olivier Awards. The nominations, announced on Tuesday 28th February include:
Best New Musical – Sylvia at The Old Vic
Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Musical – Beverley Knight, Sylvia at The Old Vic – WINNER
Best Theatre Choreography – Kate Prince, Sylvia at The Old Vic
We’d like to say a massive congratulations to the whole cast, company and crew of Sylvia. Our gratitude also goes out to our co-producers at The Old Vic Theatre and Sadlers Wells who have championed the show for over five years.
We’d also like to congratulate fellow nominees Dannielle ‘Rhimes’ Lecointe (Hey Duggee), Ben Stones (Standing at the Sky’s Edge), Shannelle ‘Tali’ Fergus (Traplord) and Natasha Chivers (Prima Facie) on their nominations – all of whom are part of the ZooNation artistic family.

ZooNation appoints Dannielle ‘Rhimes’ Lecointe as Associate Artistic Director

ZooNation is excited and proud to announce the appointment of Dannielle ‘Rhimes’ Lecointe as our first Associate Artistic Director.
In this role Rhimes will support the company to create relevant and impactful work, programmes and opportunities for artists and audiences.
We can’t wait to dream up and realise ideas with Rhimes, watch this space!

“As part of ZooNation’s mission to support the next generation of theatre makers, we are proud to announce the appointment of Dannielle ‘Rhimes’ Lecointe as the company’s first Associate Artistic Director.
As well as being a respected performer and choreographer in her own right, Rhimes has been a key contributor to the success of ZooNation for a number of years.
In this new role, we know that she will continue to inspire dancers and audience members alike. We are grateful to the Arts Council England and all of our donors for enabling the company to make this appointment and to take this next exciting step in our story.”

The Artists: Solo Edition 2022

This programme, now in its second year, is a paid professional development programme offering personal, practical and creative support to three artists exploring solo works across two weeks. Led by identity. ideas. industry. (iii) founder Shannelle ‘Tali’ Fergus, with visits and support by ZooNation: The Kate Prince Company creatives and industry experts.

ZooNation secures NPO funding for 2023-2026

We are thrilled to announce that ZooNation: The Kate Prince Company has secured NPO funding for 2023-2026.
Arts Council England’s investment in ZooNation allows us to provide critical support to generations of Hip Hop artists, from early career to leadership positions in our sector.
This support ensures we can continue to break new ground in Hip Hop inspired work.
