Introducing our brand-new YouTube Mini Series, led by ZooNation’s Associate Artistic Director Dannielle ‘Rhimes’ Lecointe and Youth Mentor & Wellbeing Officer Bradley Charles. This series offers an engaging platform for students, teachers and aspiring dancers to develop their skills and techniques within the Hip-Hop genre. Each tutorial is carefully structured to support all abilities, providing a mix of foundational skills and advanced challenges.
While the tutorials are open to all ages and experience levels, they’re particularly designed to assist teachers in delivering content for BTEC Tech Awards, Level 3 Nationals in Performing Arts, and other equivalent Key Stage 4 & 5 qualifications. They also serve as an excellent introduction to Hip-Hop for Key Stage 3 students, sparking curiosity and interest in the genre.
This Mini Series supports key BTEC components and units, including:
BTEC Tech Awards in Performing Arts – Component 2 and elements of Components 1 & 3. BTEC Nationals in Performing Arts – Unit 2, Unit 11, and elements of Unit 10. Produced in affiliation with our new Teacher CPD Programme, this series equips educators with the tools to deliver Hip-Hop dance education with confidence and depth.
