ZooNation Youth Company (ZYC) is holding open auditions for dancers aged 10–20

ZooNation Youth Company (ZYC) is inviting applications from talented young dance artists ready to train, grow and perform at a professional level.

Since its launch in 2006, ZYC has brought outstanding Hip Hop talent to stages across the UK – from the West End to the Royal Ballet & Opera, with standout appearances at Sadler’s Wells, the Southbank Centre and many more.

What we’re looking for:

• High-level skills in Locking, Popping, House and Breaking

• Ability to freestyle

• Interest in storytelling and choreography

• Commitment, professionalism and strong teamwork

• Available Saturdays (London) plus extra rehearsals when needed

Successful applicants will take part in weekly training sessions with ZYC on Saturdays in central London (10am–1pm), followed by development classes with ZooNation Academy of Dance (ZAD) in Islington (3–6pm). Additional rehearsals are scheduled around performances, and members will have the opportunity to appear at some of the UK’s most prestigious venues and festivals. A high level of commitment and consistent attendance is expected throughout the year.

Application Process:

• Submit your application by 4pm on Friday 29th August 2025

• Shortlisted applicants will be invited to audition in London

• Travel bursaries are available for those travelling from outside the M25 (please indicate in your application)
