Ebony Scrooge Cast & Creatives Announced

Meet the cast of ZooNation’s first ever Christmas show!

We’re excited to reveal the cast of Ebony Scrooge, our brand-new festive Hip Hop dance theatre show opening at Sadler’s Wells East this November.

Leading the company is the incredible Leah Hill as Ebony Scrooge – a fashion powerhouse who cancels Christmas until a ghostly journey changes everything.

Joining Leah are Lindon Barr, Melissa Bravo, Deavion Brown, Robert Dunkley-Gyimah, Sia Gbamoi, Liberty Greig, Megan Ingram, Jackie Kibuka, Portia Oti, Elijah Smith and Malachi Welch.

Directed and choreographed by Dannielle ‘Rhimes’ Lecointe, with original music from Michael ‘Mikey J’ Asante MBE, this bold retelling of A Christmas Carol fuses hip hop, comedy and a twist of Caribbean spirit – all brimming with our signature style to bring you the ultimate feel-good family show this festive season.

• Bradley Charles – associate director & choreographer

• Shakara Brown – assistant choreographer & resident director

• Le Fil – associate costume designer & stylist (lead artwork)

As part of ZooNation’s mission to open doors to the industry with genuine paid opportunities, we’re also running our Young Artists Training Scheme alongside this production. Participants Andrew Jackson and Xsia Blair will join the company throughout rehearsals.

We’re hugely proud that many of the cast began in ZooNation Youth Company – and now they’re stepping centre stage for this unique six-week run at the brand new Sadler’s Wells East. We can’t wait to share it with you.
