ZYC Return to the Royal Ballet and Opera

ZYC presents a double bill of 1776 and Offline at the Next Generation Festival

1776, a collaboration with Memphis Jookin’ pioneer Lil Buck and ZYC’s Artistic Director Dannielle ‘Rhimes’ Lecointe, reimagines history through movement, uniting young dancers from London, Memphis, and Body Politic Youth in a dialogue across generations and geographies.

Offline is a high-energy, hip-hop-driven dance theatre piece created by Dannielle ‘Rhimes’ Lecointe and ZYC. In a world powered by screens and games, the internet vanishes, pushing young people to rediscover connection with the elements and world around them.
